DRAFTING

Your opinion, in your own style.

Every advocate writes differently. LegalOpine learns how you write from opinions you have already issued, then drafts from the matter's findings in that style — stating only what is on record.

STYLE PROFILE

What it learns from you.

Upload a few opinions you have issued. LegalOpine builds a style profile from them, and every draft follows it.

  • Section order How you open, set out the facts, take the issues and conclude.
  • Headings The headings you use, and how you number them.
  • Recurring phrases The words and turns of phrase you return to.
  • Disclaimers and qualifications The caveats you always add, in your own words.
  • Dates and parties How you write dates, and how you name and describe the parties.
  • Letterhead Your chambers' letterhead, ready for export.

HOW DRAFTING WORKS

From findings to a signed opinion.

  1. Build your profile

Upload sample opinions once. A firm can keep more than one profile — for each advocate, or each kind of opinion.

  2. Draft from the record

The Drafter takes the matter's chain or chronology, its findings and its particulars, and writes the opinion in your style.

  3. Watch it arrive

The draft streams into an editable workspace as it is written.

  4. Edit, export, sign

Make it yours, then export it to Word or PDF on your letterhead.

SAFEGUARDS

A draft you can stand behind.

The Drafter is built so that what it writes can be checked, line by line, against the record.

Only facts on record

The draft may state only facts present in the matter's documents and findings. Nothing is invented to fill a gap.

Every fact linked

Each factual sentence links back to the document and page it came from.

Names masked

Names, ID numbers and addresses are replaced with placeholders before text goes to the drafting model, and restored on return.

Zero-retention providers

The model provider is bound not to keep the text or train on it.

Your firm opts in

Drafting uses an outside AI provider, so it runs only when your firm turns it on.

Yours to sign

The draft is a starting point. The opinion you issue is yours.

FAQS

Drafting questions.

Does drafting work for every module?
Yes. The Drafter works across all five modules, from each one's findings — the chain of title, the approvals, the requirements, the clauses or the chronology.
Can a draft go out without me?
No. Nothing is issued until you have edited it and marked it issued yourself.
Are our past opinions used to train AI?
No. Your opinions build your firm's style profile and nothing else, and matter data is never used to train AI models.
Which formats can I export?
Word (DOCX) and PDF, on your letterhead.
