FOR ADVOCATES WHO WRITE OPINIONS

Read the documents. Find the gaps. Write the opinion your way.

LegalOpine reads your client's documents in six languages, finds the gaps and risks with their pages, and drafts the opinion in your own style — for title, transactional, regulatory, contractual and litigation work.

  • Documents in English and five Indian languages
  • Every finding cites its page
  • You review, edit and sign — always

I · Facts

Your week, as it stands.

A client's bundle arrives as one long scan: sale deeds in Telugu, a partition in Tamil, encumbrance certificates, a patta, a stack of photocopies. A contract runs to sixty pages; a dispute file to several hundred. Before you can form a view, every page has to be read, sorted and checked against every other. That reading is where the hours go — and where a single missed page can change the answer.

II · Documents examined

Everything the client sends, read in its own language.

Scanned deeds, phone photographs, registry PDFs, Word files and plain text — read page by page in English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Marathi.
  1. Bundles split into documents

Where one scan holds several instruments, LegalOpine suggests where each begins. You accept or adjust the split — nothing is split without you.

  2. Every document typed

Sale deeds, partitions, mortgages, resolutions, agreements, plaints and orders — with a prompt to confirm when it is unsure.

  3. Particulars filled in

Dates, document numbers, parties, survey numbers, extents and boundaries are extracted for you, and never overwrite a field you have corrected.

  4. Old registry fonts handled

Registry PDFs in legacy Tamil or Telugu fonts are read from the page image, not from their garbled text.

III · Issues

Five questions clients ask. One workspace for all of them.

Opinions fall into five classes by what the client needs to know. Each is a module your firm switches on, and all five share the same documents, findings and drafting.
  1. Is the title clear and marketable?

The chain of title, revenue records against the deeds, encumbrances and litigation.

    Due Diligence & Title
  2. Is the company duly incorporated, and is the deal authorised and binding?

The deal record, the parties, authority to sign and every approval the deal needs.

    Transactional
  3. Does this product or business model comply with RBI, SEBI, FEMA or the DPDP Act?

A requirement-by-requirement assessment, with the evidence linked to each answer.

    Regulatory & Compliance
  4. Will this non-compete, liability cap or arbitration clause hold up?

Every clause extracted, typed and assessed against the governing law and the authorities.

    Contractual & Enforceability
  5. What are our prospects if we sue?

A chronology from the record, limitation tracked, and a reasoned view on each question.

    Litigation & Risk Assessment

IV · FINDINGS

Every finding, with its page.

Rules you can read run over every page: mortgages and attachments, minors' interests, government and assigned land, missing approvals, restraints of trade, limitation. Each finding shows the page and the words that raised it — you confirm it or dismiss it.

  • Breaks in the record: a seller who never acquired the property
  • Records that don't agree: a patta, a filing, a date
  • Missing documents, approvals and consents
  • Dismissed findings stay on record and never come back

V · Opinion

Drafted in your style. Signed by you.

LegalOpine learns how you write from opinions you have already issued — the order of sections, the headings, the recurring phrases, the disclaimers, the letterhead — and drafts from the matter's findings in that style. The draft states only facts that are on record, and every factual sentence links back to the document and page it came from. You edit it, sign it and issue it, as you always have.
  1. Learnt from your own past opinions

Section order, headings, recurring phrases, disclaimers and letterhead.

  2. Every fact linked to its source page

Nothing is stated that is not in the documents or the findings.

  3. Exported to Word or PDF

On your chambers' letterhead, ready to sign.

ANNEXURE · FAQS

Questions, answered.

Anything else on your mind? Write to us — we're happy to explain.

Does LegalOpine write the opinion for me?
It prepares a first draft in your own style, from the facts on record, with every fact linked to its page. The reasoning, the conclusions and the signature stay yours: you edit the draft, and nothing is issued until you do.
Which opinions can I use it for?
All five: Due Diligence & Title, Transactional, Regulatory & Compliance, Contractual & Enforceability, and Litigation & Risk Assessment. Your firm switches on the modules it needs.
Which languages can it read?
English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Marathi — including scanned documents and photographs. Registry PDFs that use old, non-Unicode Tamil or Telugu fonts are read from the page image instead of their garbled text layer.
Is my clients' information safe?
Each firm's data is isolated by the database itself, not only by the application. AI services that use an outside provider are off unless your firm turns them on, and even then names, ID numbers and addresses are masked before any text leaves. Our Confidentiality & Security page has the detail.
Do I need to install anything?
No. LegalOpine runs in your browser. Your juniors and clerks work on the same matters under their own sign-in.
What does it cost?
Plans are being finalised with our early-access firms, and every firm starts with a 14-day demo. Tell us how you work and we'll share pricing.
